Lumina Datamatics Empowers Saukhyam, Demonstrating Commitment to Women’s Empowerment in 2024

A report released by Saukhyam indicates that if using a disposable sanitary napkin, an average woman uses and discards 10,000-12,000 pads over their entire menstruating lifetime, equivalent to discarding 40,000-50,000 plastic bags. Moreover, a recent study tested 10 leading brands of sanitary napkins (6 non-biodegradable and 4 biodegradable) and found dangerous chemicals and toxins in all 10. Recognizing the severity of this issue, Team Saukhayam has been committed to crafting eco-friendly and affordable sanitary pads and is now poised to expand their impact with the support of Lumina Datamatics.
