Stacy Scott is the Accessibility Lead at Taylor & Francis Publishing, through which she leads a business-wide strategy on the accessibility of digital offerings; content, platforms and marketing and communications. She is also the Chair of the Publishing Accessibility Action Group. A group which brings publishers, vendors, stakeholders and end users together, to break down barriers to accessing any, and all, published materials.

As a blind Mathematics graduate, She has both lived experience and a professional vantage point from which to understand the challenges faced by learners with disabilities or conditions, especially in education.

Considered a ‘thought-leader’ she is often found presenting and hosting webinars on issues pertaining to digital accessibility and DEI more broadly.

Simon Mellins is a Digital Publishing Consultant and Accessibility Subject Matter Expert. Working in digital publishing for over 15 years, he most recently led the accessibility transformation at Penguin Random House. He now helps publishers and service providers have better conversations, both within and between themselves, on their journeys toward accessibility. He specialises in workflow optimisation, accessibility transformation and compliance, vendor management, service introductions and training.
